The worst possible experience
By Elsa for Tasting of 3 wines a year ago 0
I booked a 2pm wine tasting tour for 2 people and arrive 10 minutes early. We waited at the meeting area along with 6 other couples for half an hour until and we told to stay there. When we went to the shop the man at the desk said that he did not feel he needed to make any apology to us or any of he other visitors and that we would now have to split the tour into halves because we were late..he then asked for the full fee of the tour. This was a big disappointment as we travelled some way to get there and it was to be our first ever wine tasting. We were treated and spoken to appallingly and we left in shock. A very disappointing experience , I don't think it could have been much worse despite the lovely surroundings.
Not what we were expecting
By Paul for Tasting of 3 wines 2 years ago 1
This was more of a tasting in an upmarket wine shop and wine bar promoting the brand that owns Pape Clement rather that a visit to taste and understand the wines of the chateau. We didnt bother with the tasting due to this and the arrogant staff.

Trop commercial
By Carole for Découverte du Château Pape Clément 8 months ago 2
