I have visited quite a few winemakers in the Loire valley before, but this tour in the Château de Parnay, its wineyards and winemaking facilities has been the most interesting so far. The history of Antoine Cristal, his work and innovations in the winemaking process make this place really unique. The reception at the domaine was very warm, the presentation was clear and interesting, and the organic wine tasting accompanied by fresh bread (made in the bakery next door) and local rillettes was very delicious.

We did not try any whites or bubbles, but we absolutely loved all 4 cab francs that we tried. Would highly recommend!

Extremely thorough and informative winery tour , got to see the very old 1800s vineyard and limestone caves. The wine tasting was exceptional and Lily our host did a great job. Highly recommended.
