Created by the Depaquit brothers in 1791 from the former vineyards of the Cistercian Abbey of Pontigny, the Domaine Long-Depaquit is one of the most discreet and renowned winery of Chablis.

Located in the heart of Chablis, the 18th century chateau is surrounded by a park planted with hundred-year-old trees and by a garden full of roses flowers, ... while the buildings house the technical facilities (vat house and cellars). Customers are welcomed throughout the year in the orangery of the castle.

The Château Long-Depaquit winery has an exceptional heritage of vines including 15 hectares of Premiers Crus and 10 hectares of Grands Crus.
The vines are cultivated with the greatest respect for men, soils and environment. Limited yields and non-interventionist vinifications participate in making genuine, mineral and elegant wines.
The domaine Long-Depaquit winery owns the only monopoly among the Grands Crus of Chablis, which is called La Moutonne, a 2.35 hectares plot with an exceptional amphitheater shape in the heart of the Grands Crus.

Since 1970, the Château belongs to the Bichot family, a Beaune house enthusiastically managed by Albéric Bichot, the sixth generation since 1831. see more
