About the winery

Owned by the De Luze family since 1862, Château Paveil de Luze is one of the oldest properties in the Margaux appellation. In front of the château, 32 hectares with magnificent east/west exposure have remained in one piece, sitting on the same soil for three centuries. The visit was enjoyable. Our host was most welcoming; she gave us a bit of history on the Chateau before explaining the wine-making process and the differences between the various appelations. We were offered a white and two reds at the end, along with some local chocolate. Would definitely recommend!

Les vins que nous avons pu goûter n'étaient pas complètement à notre goût, ces derniers étaient plutôt forts. En revanche, l'accueil ainsi que l'activité se sont très bien déroulées, un très agréable moment.
