Domaine Galevan

This was a uniquely amazing experience for us. As Californians who love Rhône wines, we could not have asked for a better experience than the winemaker explaining each wine she produced. My husband is in the wine industry in Sonoma county and she answered all the questions he had about their processes in farming and production. As far as the wines went, all were incredibly good and represented the specific Rhône classification specified on each bottle. Bright, fresh, clean, very balanced, delicate but generous. The Grenache was absolutely incredible! And all the whites blew us away. The farming is organic and the vineyards show us a beautiful example of what farming with nature can do. We shipped quite a bit home and can’t wait to enjoy them with our outdoor dining in the upcoming hot Sonoma county evenings! We loved it here!

We showed up not knowing what to expect, and we left delighted. Our host spent time with us, gave us a great few lessons in wine culture and Apellation rules, helped us degouter and taste the wines, and she even popped open a new bottle of her new Orange Wine offering that wasn't on the menu. I was nervous about wine tasting based on my experience in the USA, and left delighted at how easy and fun the visit was. Highly recommend this winery and the experience.

Nous avons passé un excellent moment, très pédagogique et plaisant grâce au savoir faire et à l'envie de le partager de notre hote. Nous étions en grand groupe (10 pers) et cela n'a rien changé à la qualité de la visite ! Les vins étaient très bons, et nous sommes heureuses d'en avoir rapporté chez nous.Merci encore.

My wife and I loved this tour/tasting. After having been on several wine tours, this was a more intimate and informal tour of the facility by the winemaker in a way we really enjoyed. Coralie was a wonderful host - we had a great discussion really breaking down the entire process of how their wines were made. I feel we learned more here than on any other tour. Beyond that, all the wines we tried were terrific and of a very high quality. It was great to try such a varied offering of products all handled with great care. Definitely recommend!

Muy interesante bodega en el centro de Chateneuf-du-Pape, con completas explicaciones acerca de su forma de hacer el vino. La cata fue muy interesante, nos gustaron todos los vinos, tanto los de la denominación Chateneuf-du-Pape, como los demás. Tienen un pequeño calado con mucho encanto. Todo un acierto.

Visite de la cave en toute simplicité et en toute transparence. Suivi d'une dégustation très interessante par les choix des bouteilles et par l'histoire qui est contée. Cette cave nous propose une game de vin très variée, avec des bouteilles pour tous les gouts et pour tous les mets. Les cuvées sont travaillée avec passion, ça se ressent dans le verre.

Très belle visite, très bonne dégustation et découverte de ce domaine familial.

My wife and I have a wonderful tasting experience at Domaine Galévan. Getting to learn about their family's wine-making process, traditions and history was very special. They were very generous with their time and wine, offering us tastings of few wines that were not originally on the itinerary. Unsurprisingly, everything we had was delicious.We came to Domaine Galévan with our infant daughter, and it is clearly a family-friendly establishment. They were very gracious with having our daughter around and did not bat an eyelash with the occasional cry from the baby. I highly recommend Domaine Galévan for anyone seeking out high-quality, unpretentious Châteauneuf du Pape.
