Famille Hugel

We visited Hugel et Fils for a pre-arranged tasting. In all senses it was a great experience. The staff were welcoming, very knowledgeable and selection of wines tasted were first class. Highly recommended.

Tried about a dozen wines with Loic who expertly explained how Alsatian wines differ from their Burgundian and German counterparts in their purpose and expression. His knowledge and willingness to meet us where we are in ours was instrumental to our enjoyment of the session. We also enjoyed the wines. Highly recommended for all levels. Excellent English speaker.

Helpful and friendly staff ! They provided detailed explanations, but sometimes a bit in a rush, as they had to cater a lot of other guests, but that was totally understandable. Excellent wines !

Nous avions réservé cette dégustation pour l'enterrement de vie de jeune fille d'une amie. La dame qui a animé la dégustation a été super pédagogue et ouverte à la discussion, elle nous a donné beaucoup d'explication et nous a même fait découvrir deux vins à l'aveugle. Au total, on a goûté 8 vins différents, et nous avons beaucoup aimé le Riesling et Pinot Gris. C'était super !
