Château Luchey-Halde

Visite très technique et passionnante avec Arthur très agréable et connaissant bien son sujet. De plus nous n'étions que deux et nous avons pu poser toutes les questions que nous voulions ! Il nous reste à déguster les 3 bouteilles que nous avons acheté à la boutique pour avoir un avis plus objectif sur les vins. Cordialement.

Visite faite le samedi matin. L'accueil a été très sympathique, les explications claires et fournies. À la fin, la dégustation nous a évidement convaincues. En bref, nous n'avons retenues que du positif. J'y retournerai sans hésiter quand d'autres proches viendront pour un futur séjour bordelais.

Visite très sympa avec pleins d'explications allant de l'histoire du château jusqu'à la mise en bouteille des vins. Je recommande sans hésitation.

We visited three vineyards, 2 in Bordeaux and 1 in St Emilion. This is by far the best. We were lucky as this is the last day of the harvest. We saw the worker harvesting the grapes. We even tasted the grapes. The tour guide, Florence was informative and knowledgeable. She showed us the process of winemaking and from the harvesting of grapes to the machine sorting out grapes and fermentation then aging in the oak barrel. The tour would be perfect if we could see the bottling or the warehouse where and how the bottles are kept but maybe we need to join a longer tour to see this. I like that the tour group was small. We were given 3 different types of wine to taste (1 white and 2 reds) as this vineyard produces white wine too.

Florence was excellent. She was patient and interesting . She had super knowledge and the wine / chocolates were delicious. She also has juice and chocolates for the kids. We were fortunate as we were the only people booked for our time slot, so we had a private tour The only thing that may have improved the experience for us would have been somewhere to sit and enjoy a bottle of wine while we were there. I visited Château Luchey-Halde with my boyfriend and it was one of the best experiences we had in Bordeaux. We're wine lovers, but we'd never done a wine tasting before. It was on our bucket list for our trip to Bordeaux and we didn't leave disappointed. Wonderful wines, a very friendly guide and, finally, delicious wines.We liked it so much that we placed an order so that we could share the wine with our relatives in Portugal.
