About the winery

Château Cadet-Bon, Grand Cru Classé, is a 7-hectare family estate nestled in the hills near the village of Saint Emilion. We grow 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc organically, with an average age of 40 years, to produce our great wines, true to their terroirs.

Mon épouse et moi-même avons été conquis par cette très belle découverte d œnologie et, surtout, par toutes les explications claires et précises de Béatrice. Un fort moment très agréable. On va déguster, maintenant, les vins différemment.

Nous avons été reçus par Béatrice (ingénieur agronome) qui nous a fait partager un peu de tout son savoir sur le vin et tous ses secrets de façon ludique et très pédagogique. C’était vraiment très intéressant. Un moment de plaisir agrémenté par l’excellent vin du domaine. Je vous recommande vivement cette visite.

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and wine tasting. Hugo was engaging, friendly and highly knowledgeable. The tour helped us understand the wine making process, and the unique terroir of the Bordeaux region. The four wines we tasted were delicious.

The person responsible for the visit knew what he was talking about and was nice and welcoming with our small group. We enjoyed the wine, and the samples weren't too small. I'd rather have a little more on the glass for a tasting, but apparently that's the norm in the region. So, after a first sip, it gets hard to do further nose analysis. But I do recommend.
