Château Gombaude Guillot

Ma compagne et moi sommes venu découvrir le vin Pomerol et nous n’avons pas été déçu. Manon était très agréable et nous avons appris beaucoup. Le vin est excellent tout comme l’accueil et les activités Nous recommandons et nous reviendrons.

Rencontre sympathique avec des producteurs aux connaissances et talents profonds, tout ça en dehors des sentiers battus de Pomerol! Expérience à faire!

Une visite et une dégustation épatante ! Un accueil chaleureux et une visite agréable avec des explications précises. On ressent très vite l'esprit familial dans ce vignoble, ainsi que dans la dégustation de plusieurs vins exceptionnels. Merci pour cette expérience !

Arrived on a lovely sunny day but pretty cold. Unfortunately we didn’t get the name of the young lady who guided us around and conducted the tasting at the end of the visit. We would say don’t come with any preconceived ideas as this is truly a small family run enterprise which has introduced some new innovative ideas on how to produce their wines. The winery has more of the feel of a country kitchen than a Michelin Star restaurant. The tasting room has a balcony overlooking the plateau of Pomerol and the vineyards of the famed Petrus, Le Pin and others. We tasted 4 wines with lively conversation and settled for the 2012 vintage with its distinct hints of truffles on the nose and palate. A unique and thoroughly enjoyable experience.

We really enjoyed our experience. The château team was very hospitable and professional, we had a tour of the winery, saw production and cellar, and had a great tasting of delicious wines. During the tasting, some small bites (like cheese) could improve even more the overall impression. But overall it was a great experience!

Plus qu'une visite, nous avons fait une véritable rencontre dans un domaine familial au milieu d'un terroir d'exception. Passionnée, Manon nous a fait découvrir le domaine de manière très enrichissante et complète. Olivier, le propriétaire du château, est venu échanger avec nous au milieu de sa journée bien chargée. Depuis la terrasse ensoleillée surplombant les vignes, nous avons dégusté d'excellents vins du domaine. Venez sans hésiter !
