Het wijnhuis

De Caveau Moillard in Meursault werd begin 2018 ingehuldigd. Gelegen aan de poort van het prestigieuze dorp Meursault, is de Caveau in de eerste plaats een plek om te ontdekken. De Climats, het werk van de wijnstok, de geologische geschiedenis en de geschiedenis van de mensen staan centraal in de ruimte.

Door Alixe voor Dégustation Gourmande zijn er een dag 5.0
Nous étions déjà venu en octobre avec des amis et avions été conquis. Cette fois ci nous sommes venus en famille et avons choisis la dégustation alliant vin et fromage!! Nous avons eu raison les vins étaient très bons, les fromages excellents et tout cela avec une vue magnifique sur les vignes! Un grand merci à l Animatrice qui a été top, très souriante, beaucoup d humour, simple et efficace dans ses explications ! Nous recommandons vivement le caveau Moillard et reviendrons certainement une 3e fois?

Nous avons passé un très bon moment privatif avec notre hôtesse. Elle a pu nous conseiller et nous présenter différents vins et c'était très agréable. Et tout cela sans pousser à la consommation. Je recommande vivement cette adresse pour déguster des vins de Bourgogne.
A fantastic gourmande tasting with so much information

Nicholas was our guide through tasting with a fromagerie/charcuterie board accompanying it. He tailored the tasting to our group, asking for wines we would like to try. Each one was wonderful and a good selection to understand the different areas and standards. I asked too many questions but they were all answered because he was so knowledgeable. The cheeses were all so delicious and we went into Beaune after to buy a few new ones we had never tasted before! Nicholas lead us through which cheeses to eat with which wines and he spoke about food pairings as well. This was the best tasting I have been to in France... both because of the new knowledge as well as the quality of the wines. The view and the tasting room were perfect. Definately one to book.

The girl who followed us was as very nice, welcoming and gave us interesting explanations, answering all of our questions. She gave us the possibility to choose the types of wine we wanted to taste, including a gran cru that was amazing. The thing that could be improved, compared to other experiences in other regions of france/nations, is the attention to details: we used the same glass for all the wines, without washing them, which doesn't allow to appreciate fully the different perfumes, and we were left standing the whole time.
