Champagne Lancelot-Pienne

We booked a last minute tasting and arrived fashionably late due to the weather but they were very nice about it. They asked if we would also like a tour of the house and cellar in addition to the tasting and we immediately said yes. Since it was just the 2 of us, we had a lot of time to discuss the history and how they do their wine making. Even though we only booked an hour, he was very thorough and did not rush us at all. In fact, we had to stop him because we were running late to the next appointment! In the end, one of the better experiences at a champagne house and thanks again for a wonderful afternoon!

Our appointment coincided with the first day of harvest. Julien told us that he would be busy that day but would welcome us nonetheless. He was very nice, poured some of his Tradition wine and invited us to watch him and his father load grapes into the press. After that was done, he poured more of his fine wines to taste. We bought some wines to take home but also take home fond memories of a kind man who showed us such great hospitality on one of the busiest days of the year.

Went there and the appointment didn’t go trough to the winemaker but that didn’t stop him. Great guided tour, a lovely and friendly dog in the yard and exceptional wines with great detail. No less that 5/5

The tasting was incredible, intimate, with wonderful Champagnes and the host Julien, together with his dog Voltaire rs, were very cordial and attentive.

Nous sommes très contents d'avoir participé à cette activité, c'était parfait. L'accueil était chaleureux, et la dégustation, très détaillée. La personne en charge était attentive, rendant l'échange vraiment enrichissant. Je recommande vivement !

Absolutely fabulous, we tried 5 Champagne, all really delicious

C'est le propriétaire qui nous faisait la visite. Nous avons appris plein de choses ! Vu le processus des vendanges et de la vinification. La dégustation était vraiment bien, très complète. Pour moi, c'est une des meilleures visites que nous avons faites.

We had a great time on the tour! We learned a lot about the different grape varieties and how to identify the grapes from the leaf structure. The Champagne was excellent and the view was fabulous!

Visite très agréable et super intéressant ! Je conseille les yeux fermés. Un grand merci à Julien pour cette expérience !
