Le 3 par Champagne Thiénot

We chose Thienot having tried their champagnes made in collaboration with Penfolds. This was our third champagne house in 2 days and we have been to this area before so have seen tunnels, riddling racks etc before. Thienot are in a historic building, recently renovated. Our host was welcoming and knowledgeable. We were the only guests so had his undivided attention. We tried 3 wines from the family collection and all were superb. Afterwards we looked at their museum and visited their roof top bar. Our barman recommended a restaurant nearby called les coudes sur la table which was casual but delightful. A lovely Reims afternoon/ evening.

An interesting blend of historic buildings and modern architecture. A modern reception building with engaging interactive exhibits, a futuristic-looking warehouse for reserve wines, and, in contrast, old cellars featuring elements of Gothic architecture – truly fascinating. A friendly and knowledgeable tour guide (Justine), who makes the information both entertaining and informative. Here, too, there are fresh, modern approaches. Highly recommended!

Super freundlich und toller Champagner

This was my last champage house we visited. This place was awesome, interactive, fun, educational and extremely personable. The champage was delicious as well, we had the rose, brut and vintage 2015 I don't want to tell ya the flavor profile but WOW. The tour is right on the center of Reims as well so you don't need to walk far. Mathou was our guide and was equally as great as the brand. I highly recommend this house on your visit to Reims. And did I mention my wife is a Sommelier.
