Château Sigalas Rabaud, Grand Cru Classé

Very nice reception in a beautiful location, the guide was very prepared but the best part was the tasting: the wine were simply fabulous, definitely worth a visit!

Nous sommes venus découvrir un château du Sauternais et nous n'avons pas été déçu. Le côté familial de ce château et ses hôtes très sympathiques ont ravis notre après-midi et nos papilles. Une vrai belle découverte. Nous reviendrons!

I visited the vineyard with my friend as a special treat at the end of our family holiday. It was wonderful to see the rooms inside, which were gorgeous. We learned about the history of the vineyard as well about the wines. Our guide spoke great English and was happy to answer our questions. The tapas was held in the cellar, which was really special and we were really pleased that we were the only people there. It made the experience really personal. The wines were fab and it was fascinating to see how the taste of the foods changed with a different wine. We would recommend this experience to anyone.

Dernier château de l'appellation Sauternes géré par une famille, et non une entreprise, visite riches en explications et dégustation très chouette avec beaucoup de conseils, je recommande!

This is a smaller wine producer but the wines, both sw eet (sauternes app) and dry (bordeaux app), are excellent and high quality. The tasting tour was very informative and open for questions. Perhaps the best of all tasting we did in a busy week, even our dog felt at home at Sigalas ?
