Château Cadet Bon, Grand Cru Classé

I would highly recommend this workshop with Beatrice to anyone planning a visit to St. Emilion. The Chateau itself is a beautiful, familial operation easily accessible from anywhere in town. Beatrice has a wealth of knowledge and is an excellent teacher, making her class fun, collaborative, and informative. My wife and I are not experts, nor are we novices, and I felt that the class was perfectly tailored to our experience level. Overall it was a phenomenal way to spend a morning in wine country and a total highlight on our trip.

Nous avons passé un très agréable moment en compagnie de Béatrice. Deux heures passionnantes avec une passionnée. C’est plus qu’une dégustation. C’est également l’occasion de découvrir ou redécouvrir les grandes étapes de l’exploitation de la vigne et de la fabrication du vin. C’est aussi un moment ludique où l’on classe les senteurs de base qu’il faudra essayer de retrouver lors de la dégustation. Le tout dans un endroit charmant aux portes de Saint-Emilion. Nous le recommandons.

Nous avons passé un excellent moment en compagnie de Giuseppe. Présentation du château, explications sur les cépages, visite des chais puis la dégustation des differents vins du château et des millésimes. Guiseppe a répondu à l'ensemble de nos questions. A highlight of our recent trip to Saint-Émilion was a private 3-hour wine education course at Chateau Cadet Bon, led by the incredible Beatrice Bas. As a local winemaker, Beatrice brings an authenticity and passion to her teaching that is simply infectious.The experience was perfectly paced, beginning with a walk through the vineyards and moving into a fascinating session that completely changed how we understand wine. Beatrice has a gift for demystifying the complex interplay between smell and taste, making it accessible and fun. What we appreciated most was her warmth, knowledge, and the genuine joy she took in sharing her craft with us. It felt less like a class and more like a personal introduction to the world of Saint-Émilion wine from a true expert. We cannot recommend this experience with Beatrice highly enough—it's an absolute must for anyone visiting the region!
