Château Le Chatelet, Grand Cru Classé

2/5 - be wary booking this, the 11:30 was full with tour groups so therefore the cellar was self guided, I only had one vintage of the grand cru classe, and I never had the wine from the barrel, all of which described in the booking details. As a solo, I was given my 3 glasses for tasting largely without description, instead neglected for the larger tour groups. Otherwise, the wine was very nice and it may be different when less busy.

The best tasting in Saint-Emilion. Visit to the limestone caves is a must. The wines were superb and the presentation was engaging and instructive Our visit to Chateau Chartelet was one of the highlights of our trip.

Très belle expérience pour laquelle nous avons été très bien accueilli. Notre hôte nous a fait partager sa passion et son expertise du vignoble. Très professionnelle et à l'ecoute de ses hôtes. Une excellente dégustation ! Petit bémol, la visite du vignoble ne sait pas faite, mais nous avons eu toutes les réponses à nos questions sur leurs savoirs-faire.
