Champagne P. Lancelot-Royer

The property is compact so you can experience first hand the travel of the champagne from the vineyard and into the final bottle. You can see and feal the white porous and humid chalk stone providing perfect water conditions and the mineral character to the Chardonnay grapes. The owner is a perfect host, and very proficient in English.

We visited Lancelot-Royer with 3 children (10, 9, 6). We were warmly welcomed and had a fun and extensive tour, which was also very interesting for the children.

This was a most memorable experience. Our comprehensive tour included a clear explanation of the champagne-producing process, a fascinating walk through the chalk cellars and an unforgettable tasting to round off our visit. Through his ready responses to questions and subsequent discussions, our engaging host, Éduoard, demonstrated remarkable depth of knowledge and a sincere passion for his life’s work. I would highly recommend this tour as an intimate, personal introduction to the world of champagne.

Agréable moment passé avec le propriétaire du domaine. Très agréable et instructif. Une belle affaire à taille humaine qui continue à évoluer avec passion et à se construire en famille. La localisation du village de Cramant est exceptionnelle, les vignobles à perte de vue. La cave est magnifique, les dégustations excellentes. A recommander sans hésitation et sans modération ?

Wij hadden een hartelijk ontvangt, geweldige tour door de zelf uitgegraven kelders. Het hele champagne proces en zoveel geduld met al onze vragen. Kortom echt een aanrader.

Très bonne dégustation et visite

Visite choisie un peu au hasard et il a clairement bien fait les choses. Une maison, un champagne et un hote a decouvrir absolument. De l'accueil a la degustation, tout etait top. Un hote accueillant, simple, connaisseur, amoureux de son travail qui a pris le temps de partager son savoir. La visite de la cave est exceptionnelle et les champagnes dégustés étaient excellents. A recommander absolument

We had a truly fabulous experience when visiting. Our guide (and owner/winemaker) was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly to our entire group. We started out in the field and ended up at the tasting table having covered all the steps in between with careful detail. I would recommend this visit to anyone interested in winemaking.
