Wir haben einen Tag zuvor abends gebucht und direkt eine Führung für 14 Uhr erhalten. Wir waren sogar die einzigen beiden Besucher um diese Zeit und konnten somit all unsere Fragen stellen. Der freundliche Besitzer führte uns persönlich wdurch seinen kleinen Familienbetrieb und erklärte sehr verständlich die Kunst der Champagnerherstellung. Nun verstehe ich, warum Champagner so kostbar ist. Vielen Dank für den freundlichen Empfang!

Avons profité et apprécié cette visite d un peu plus d une heure. L accueil est chalereux, les explications sont limpides. Nous avons eu les réponses à nos différentes interrogations. Le cheminement dans ce lieu nous permet de découvrir les différentes étapes de l origine du raisin jusqu'à la mise en bouteille. Notre hote adore son métier, cela se ressent.

Zeer interessante rondleiding door het champagnehuis met als hoogtepunt de kelders. Aansluitend een overheerlijke proeverij. De gastheer sprak goed Engels. Aanrader voor een bezoek aan dit huis.

We had a most interesting and informative time at Lancelot-Royer. The winemaker gave us a wonderful tour, explaining how Champagne is made and showing us his routine. We toured the fascinating cellars made from the chalk which is prevalent in this area. The winemaker answered all of our questions in a manner easily understandable, which was helpful and made the tour more enjoyable. We then had a tasting of four of the currently available bottles, which were delicious! They are extremely well priced, especially compared to wines from the larger houses such as Moët. Those huge Champagne houses feel very impersonal and corporate, while a small grower champagne like Lancelot-Royer is a very special place to visit. Highly recommended.
