Dans l'ensemble, c'était une expérience formidable. Les dégustations de vin et le déjeuner sur notre programme étaient tout simplement parfaits. Les vélos fonctionnaient bien et nous avons apprécié l'expérience. On ne nous a pas fourni l'itinéraire à l'avance avec l'itinéraire... juste un emplacement d'un parc pour récupérer les vélos. Lorsque nous sommes arrivés au parc, j'ai vu un magasin de vélos qui offrait des locations, mais notre carte montrait que nous avions encore un chemin à faire jusqu'au point de départ. Comme le magasin de vélos était là, nous nous sommes arrêtés pour demander et avons découvert qu'ils avaient notre réservation. Il aurait été plus facile de trouver si le nom de la boutique avait été fourni avec les instructions de visite. Une fois au magasin de vélos, on nous a demandé si nous avions l'itinéraire. Ils ont été surpris que nous ne soyons pas déjà préparés. Nous avons ensuite dû télécharger une application pour obtenir l'itinéraire. Tout cela a entraîné un retard. Notre premier arrêt était à 17 ou 18 kilomètres, et avec un départ retardé, nous n'avons pas donné beaucoup de temps pour y arriver à l'heure. Tout cela pour dire, la compagnie de voyage pourrait fournir des instructions plus spécifiques pour aider.
Een tip voor mensen die dit overwegen: doen!! Hoe echter rekening met twee dingen: neem een elektrische fiets! Dit kost E 35,00 pp extra en dat moet je goed afspreken met de organisatie, want wij kwamen aan en toen werd ons medegedeeld dat wij geen elektrische fietsen gehuurd zouden hebben. Dat kon alsnog ter plekke verzorgd worden, maar het is vervelend. Tweede ding: ofschoon fietshelmen in Frankrijk niet verplicht zijn, is dat bij deze organisatie wel het geval. Wij vonden dat vervelend, maar begrepen onderweg wel het waarom: wij reden op een gegeven moment met 55 km p/u naar beneden, dan is een helm wel beter. Voor de res: een topdag! Prachtige rit, goede en boeiende uitleg over de Bourgogne, de wijn, de classificatie, labelling van de wijnen, heel leerzaam en superleuk!
What a fantastic day. Our guide, Theo, took us through beautiful countryside and villages on our full day bike tour, with stops for wine and cheese in a park, wine tasting at a lovely chateau, an excellent 3 course lunch and another wine tasting back in Beaune. We experienced a fairly easy ride through villages and vineyards, with a few climbs but mainly downhill or flat terrain on good quality bikes and with interesting commentary from Theo. We would highly recommend this tour.

What a splendid day!
We left Dijon in the morning. We had a small amount of rain, but that was no problem.
The 3 visits (chatteu de Marsannay, the hotel in Chambolle -Musigny and Domaine Armelle et Bernard RION) was well worth every dime spent.
Very professional wine makers (sommeliers), with also good social skills.
We are average in wine know-how, but those people teached us with confidence and patience.
The lunch was also just what we needed after some hours at the bicycle seat.
The guy at Active Tours was very helpful when we forgot the names of our destinations.
