A fantastic one-day tour. Stan was absolutely brilliant and made the tour the best we have been on. Thank you!
My husband and I have a great time on this wine tour. Oscar our guide was incredible and extremely knowledgeable. He was very friendly and made our experience. The vineyards were beautiful and we had very delicious wines. It was super informative and we highly recommend this tour.
Mathis was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide. He was thoughtful and helpful. The chateaux were interesting and the wine was delicious. The timing of the tour was excellent with 2 hours to explore St Emilion in the middle of the day! Fantastic!
Excellent trip to St. Emilion. Very informative, beautiful, and fun.
We loved the tour. The guide was one of the most knowledgeable guides I've ever seen. The tour itself was wonderful, too. The only thing we found a little disappointing was that the actual vineyard was closed because it was a Sunday. We would have loved to see a bit more of the activities. In any case, our tour was lovely and our guide was very sweet, informative, and knowledgeable. We learned so much! The wine tasting itself was great too because she could explain so well where in one's mouth one tastes which aspect of the wine. I went to many tastings, and nobody else explained it so well. It was great! Thanks! We will do more of these tours next time we come to France.
Fabulous tour and variety of wineries and nice to have some time to ourselves for lunch. Our guide Karim was amazing!
Muriella was amazing. Personable and very knowledgable about the area and the wines. She really helped us understand and enjoy the trip. The first vineyard, Chateau Prieure Lichine Margaux Bordeaux was our favorite, followed by Lanessan (now owned by Penfolds Australia). The only negative feedback here was that the guide at this Chateau was very nice and very knowledgeable, however spoke Spanish to some other folks in our group. This was an English-speaking tour and Muriella was great keeping all English. We just lost a lot of the conversation questions and answers in Spanish unfortunately.
Again, Mariella was wonderful and we would highly recommend this tour!
This was the highlight of my trip to Bordeaux. You can’t come to wine country and not do a wine tour. A small group setting the visited three wineries near St. Emilion. Our guide Carol was truly fabulous - she was engaging and friendly and knows the history of the area, as well as, the wine making. I recommend this tour to everyone - you will not be disappointed.
My husband and I took this tour to see some of the chateaux of Medoc and build our knowledge of all things Bordeaux. Our guide, Helen was energetic and knowledgeable. The tour was just the right length and the 2 wineries we visited were excellent examples of a large producer and a small family winery. The only downside was the air conditioning in the car was not working for our tour - it got warm and some people were uncomfortable.
Met in front of Tourist Office and loaded into a Mercedes Van with Carol as our driver and guide. 8 people on our tour...I will say that is a bit tight in a van. It was a pretty long drive out to St. Emillion area, but passed some interesting chateaus. Passed Pomeral on the way, and stopped at Chateau D'Aiguilhe. Got a bit of a lengthy tour all about their winery and wine production. It was a beautiful facility and grounds. Lea was our guide and she really knew her stuff. It was a very nice wine tasting.
Drove into St. Emillion, got a little tour from Oscar and decided on a meeting place. We were on our own to eat lunch.
At 2:15, met and drove to Chateau Bellevue. Oscar gave the tour....tried 4 wines. Bellevue has a beautiful cave. Next, was Vignobles Cap de Mourin. Tasted 3 wines and some grapes. A bit of an uninspiring tour, all together. Oscar is a very nice guy, but the whole tour was a bit dry.
