Château du Petit Thouars

Today, we had a wonderful vineyard and cellar tour followed by wine tasting. Chateau has been in George’s family for I believe 12 generations. Great learning experience for my granddaughter. George, the owner and his wife spoke very good English. I’d refer a friend to take this tour in a heartbeat. Authentic. Dan

We were met by the owner and vintner, he was very knowledgable and told of the 400 year family history of the chateau and its wines. We went to see the vines and could ask any question, nothing was a trouble. We then saw the caves with the wine and discussed the process of making and fermenting. At the end we tasted a selection and were impressed with the quality and variety. We bought some as gifts and for special occasions and will no doubt be ordering more in the future. English was spoken and there was no communication problems Thoroughly recommended

Visited in May and George showed us around, explaining about the family's history and the wine they produce. After the tour, we enjoyed some wine and food in the sunshine. An excellent experience.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par les propriétaires des lieux dans un superbe cadre. Le fait d’être en petit groupe a permis au guide d’avoir plus de temps et d’être plus disponible pour répondre à toutes nos questions. Très bonne dégustation de différents vins avec des explications claires.
