About the winery

Château Saint Ahon was built in the 14th century, and belonged to Charles de Montesquieu in the 18th century. In 1985, this Cru Bourgeois was acquired by the Count and Countess Bernard de Colbert. Three generations have lived there since.

Au cours de visites de différents vignobles de la région, on a choisi de s'y arrêter pour ses jardins en plus des vins proposés. Malheureusement, il n'y avait pas d'animaux à ce moment là (seule raison pour laquelle j'ai mis un 4/5). En revanche, les affiches explicatives le long du chemin sont très claires, le personnel est honnête, à l'écoute et disponible pour la dégustation. Je recommande vivement !
