Château Beau-Séjour Bécot, Premier Grand Cru Classé

We had an absolute highlight of our trip today with a private tour at Château Beau-Séjour Bécot. From the moment we arrived, our host made us feel incredibly welcome.The depth of detail was fantastic. We walked away with a genuine appreciation for the intricacies of their winemaking process from grape to glass. The standout feature was undoubtedly the walk through the breathtaking underground limestone cellars.An exceptional experience from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Saint-Émilion looking for an authentic, educational, and memorable tour!

Visite très bien expliquée, à la fois pédagogique et conviviale. Le guide a su instaurer un excellent relationnel avec le groupe, en s’adaptant aux différents niveaux de connaissance, y compris à l’épouse, moins familière avec le vin. La dégustation comprenait au moins trois vins, tous de très belle qualité, avec un superbe potentiel de garde. Une véritable pépite à découvrir !

excellente visite avec de très bonnes explications, qui s’est terminée par une très bonne dégustation de 4 vins à chaque fois différents. L’accord avec chocolat/biscuit permet de voir comment le vin s’adapte à l’aliment

A great experience as a couple, really enjoyable from start to finish

We caught a taxi from the train station and it was difficult to find, as Google maps still had the old location for the tour listed instead of the new building.The tour to the underground caves/cellars was exceptional and quite unique (we saw 6 different wineries on our 3 week visit to France and Spain and these cellars were the most impressive).The wines selected for tasting were good, but not exceptional as I had been expecting.The addition of some small bites to accompany them was an excellent idea and did enhance the experience.

I visited Châtean Béau-Séjour Bécot for a private tour. Loïc gave me a fascinating insight into the history of the château, but also its amazing underground cellars which were part of a sandstone quarry, the specific features of its terroir and its wines. I had the chance to taste their "sibling" wines from Joanin Bécot and Bernon Bécot as well as the 2017 Béau-Séjour Bécot (I had to guess the vintage) and the La Gomerie 2010 (where I had to guess the grape and the vintage) which is a 100% Merlot. Overall, a very fascinating tour by a true wine expert!

Absolutely the best of all our wine tours. Tour given by a sommelier. Wines tasted were excellent.
