About the winery

Only 30 minutes far from Bordeaux, Château Siran is the oldest homestead in the Margaux appellation held by the same family for over 150 years. In the XIXth century Château Siran became property of the family Miailhe, when the estate was bought to Count and Countess de Toulouse-Lautrec, the grandparents of the famous painter!

Nous avons participé à une visite suivie d'une dégustation de 3 vins. La visite a très bien menée par une guide très agréable, les informations étaient de qualité sur la fabrication du vin, le produits en eux-mêmes, mais aussi sur les ' à côté ' de la visite (la collection d'art et les commentaires historiques du domaine). Attention cependant, la partie du château sur la photo sur ce site est privée et ne se visite pas (possibilité d'avoir un aperçu de la façade au loin).Je recommande : permets de passer un bon moment tout en s'instruisant et dégustant de bons vins!

Nous avons découvert le domaine et fait une dégustation cet après midi et nous tenions vraiment à partager notre avis . Nous sommes très heureux d'avoir été accueillit par une équipe gentille , souriante et simple. Un cadre juste sublime et une dégustation très simpas! nous recommandons ++ prix très raisonnable .

We had a tour of the Chateau Siran with Yo-yo, who was a great host. We liked the art collection of the great great grandmother of the owner of the Chateau and the wine was lovely, bought a Margaux appellation for a good price. Very much recommended!

The visit alternates between museum expositions and winery housse. Getting more knowledge about history is exciting and offers the possibility to connect wine to the history of the region. I would add that the visit was conducted by a very welcoming student coming from south korea. She is passionned by her work and answered nicely to our numerous questions. Many thanks to her !

Visite très sympathique, moment privilégié avec la guide, qui donne de bonnes explications et rend la visite enjouée et conviviale. On adore la couleur rose du château. On remercie Salomé pour ses explications lors de la dégustation qui nous a permis de mieux goûter les différences entre les 3 vins proposés !
