Château Ambe Tour Pourret

Very pleasant, and super educational, the whole visit made even more interesting by Floraine’s extensive knowledge and sympathy.After a visit to the vineard, cellars and wine preparation vaults, we went back to the tasting room to taste 3 very good wines: one cremeous (bubbles) and two red wines. Very nice indeed !The meal was served in the 1st floor which has amazing views of the vineyards and chateaux around. Wow, we could have stayed there the whole afternoon ??❤️For the meal we had a choice of wines and opted for an exceptional red wine from 2018! It tasted wonderfully with the salad, croque monsieur, cheeses and charcuteries in the meal ! At the end, coffee and large cannelles ! Super delicious!Thank you so very much Floraine for your kindness, sympathy and very clear explanations.Congratulations also to the family behind Chateau Ambe Tour Pourret !We hope to visit you again next year !

Nous avons passé un excellent moment lors de la visite en début de soirée du Château Ambre Tour Pourret. Notre guide était très sympathique et compétent. C'était passionnant d'apprendre comment le vin est élaboré et mis en fût. La dégustation était bien sûr délicieuse, en particulier le grand cru Saint-Émilion, d'une grande finesse et d'une belle profondeur. Merci pour cette merveilleuse expérience, La famille Graham

Our host was informative and very friendly, the tour was great, and the tasting was a lot of fun (and super tasty!) - highly recommend (esp the grand cru!)

A very good wine tasting session. Complete with an over view of all the wines produced in the three different Chateaus. Informative overview of the vines to the making of the Grand Cru. Tasted a wine from all three areas incl a ver good Grand Cru. Thank you very much

This was a fanatic tour! We learned about the process of making the wine across their different properties in the area and it was fun and informative. The tasting was delicious, and we learned about pairing specific wine and cheese! All around I’d definitely recommend this tour. We bought sparkling white wine and some travel bottles for friends!
