Très belle visite
By Estelle for Visite Découverte 4 months ago 5.0
Nous avons été charmés par le cadre de ce lieu, des arbres, de la chartreuse, du style et surtout de l'histoire... La visite a été très complète, maison, vigne, chais, avec beaucoup de précision. Bref on recommande vivement...
Delightful Visit
By Richard for Discovery tour 4 months ago 5.0
We were staying in Bordeaux and didn't want to do a wine tour in the busier Saint-Emilion region so were delighted to find this Château, which is an easy train ride from the city. It's a traditional and rather modest place and indeed the whole tour is very low-key and probably not suited to those who want a grand experience, but part of the charm was the modesty and intimacy. We were the only two on that tour so were able to engage in conversation and ask all the questions we wanted. The wines were delightful and it proved to be a leisurely and very pleasant excursion.
A Wonderful Guide and Château
By Krystin for Discovery tour 5 months ago 5.0
This was my first vineyard and château ever, and I'm so happy this was my inaugural visit. Since it's accessible by train (+ 10 a walk), it was perfect for someone who doesn't really want to rent a car. Our guide was so welcoming and sweet and was always ready to answer questions. Our tour was in French (since we joined a French group) but she went slow enough that I could translate for my mom. Her English was great, so don't let a language barrier prevent you from a marvelous visit. We had our favourite wine of the trip here, so I definitely recommend a visit!

Belle visite du Château en compagnie de notre guide Tatiana
By Stéphanie for Visite au fil du temps 7 months ago 5.0
Nous avons passé excellent moment grâce à notre guide Tatiana, qui nous a fait découvrir, tant le Château que ses vins, au travers d'une belle dégustation de millésimes.
Good visit, but was expecting a bit more
By Isabela Sued for Discovery tour 7 months ago 3.3
Our guide was very nice. The chateau is smaller than I thought it would be. My father and I were the only ones in the tour. We went by train — it’s a 10 minute walk from the train station to the chateau. The garden was not very beautiful (in the pictures it looked prettier and more colourful). The tasting was nice, but I expected to hear more about how to taste it, how it felt in the mouth, which foods would go with each wine, etc. I wouldn’t recommend this visit to those who are looking for a more professional wine tour.
Just perfect
By Tristan for Discovery tour 8 months ago 5.0
A highlight of our stay in the Bordeaux area: everything was smooth and easy... we really felt as guests of the family in charge of this delightful property. The host was charming, attentive and very willing to answer all our questions. The testing was great and enlightening: we already knew and loved the white Château de Cérons but the red wines were a lovely surprise...

Small Perfect Delightful

Wonderful to be on a small family run château where you actually met the family! And saw them at work in the vines! Very refreshing to not be hustled through a tour like other châteaux! Loved every minute!
