Wonderful experience with a passionate guide

We scheduled the visit last minute after a change of plans due to bad weather and we did not know what to expect. It turned out it was the best thing it could happen: the visit at Chateau Cerons was outstanding. We were lucky to be the only ones doing the tour with our guide - something which at first worried us a bit. We were welcomed by the young son of the owners (apologies for forgetting the name!) who was simply the best possible guide one could ever imagine. In an excellent english he guided us through the estate, with clear and informative explanations. Being new to the region and the wine world more generally, we had lots of questions which he answered thoroughly and with a passion which really transpired his love for wine and winemaking. Last but not least, the wine tasting was really good and the wine - especially the renown sweet wine of Cerons - was excellent.
