About the winery

In 1778, Jean-Daniel ZEYSSOLFF founded the Maison ZEYSSOLFF in GERTWILLER in the heart of the Alsace vineyards. Since then, the tradition of vines and wine has been handed down from father to son for eleven generations.

Had a really nice time doing the tour. We had excellent service and the wines were delicious. Loved getting the history of the vineyard and wines. Such a fun experience!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre passage dans la maison Zeissolff. Au programme, explications sur la region viticole alsacienne, sur la maison familiale, les cepages, les appellations....à partir de courtes videos et par du personnel de la maison et entrecoupees de degustations de vins (cremant, plusieurd vins blancs secs). Mentions speciales a la jeune personne qui nous a accompagnes durant ces 2 heures, tres sympathique et passionnee. Et au moment Tea time qui nous a bluffé.

Accueillis par Benoît, nous avons pu découvrir les fameux vins d'Alsace ainsi que leurs méthodes de fabrication. La visite des caves est fortement intéressante, de même que les petits films qui ont accompagné cette dernière. Le tout s'étant terminé autour d'un dernier verre et d'une part de leur kougelhopf. Encore merci pour cette belle découverte et cet accueil chaleureux.
