About the winery

In 1778, Jean-Daniel ZEYSSOLFF founded the Maison ZEYSSOLFF in GERTWILLER in the heart of the Alsace vineyards. Since then, the tradition of vines and wine has been handed down from father to son for eleven generations.

Accueillis par Benoît, nous avons pu découvrir les fameux vins d'Alsace ainsi que leurs méthodes de fabrication. La visite des caves est fortement intéressante, de même que les petits films qui ont accompagné cette dernière. Le tout s'étant terminé autour d'un dernier verre et d'une part de leur kougelhopf. Encore merci pour cette belle découverte et cet accueil chaleureux.

J'ai passé un moment super à la Maison Zeyssolff lors de leur visite de cave immersive avec dégustation de 5 vins d'Alsace. La découverte des foudres centenaires, accompagnée d'une projection vidéo unique à 180° sur les fûts, est vraiment captivante et révèle les secrets de l'élaboration des vins. Les explications passionnées sur l'histoire familiale et les terroirs alsaciens rendent la visite très intéressante, et les vins dégustés étaient délicieux. Une expérience à recommander sans hésiter pour les amateurs de vin !

Nous avons été très heureux de visiter la maison Zeyssolff !!! La vidéo diffusée, relatant l’histoire familiale, pas toujours simple, sur les fûts est très émouvante ! ! !Nous sommes très fiers d’avoir dans notre région, des personnes animées d’une telle passion familiale générationnelle pour leur métier ! Bravo !!! A refaire…

It’s a wonderful wine testing experience. The host shared a lot about the vineyard’s history and story. Also, introduced a lot about Alsace region. Also, the bunch is decent and tasteful. If I visit Alsace region again, I am pretty sure to visit again ?

Nous étions un groupe de quatre pour profiter de cette visite guidée et du brunch qui suivait. Une des plus belles visite de ce type dans toutes nos expériences, tant en Californie, en Colombie Britannique, en Ontario, en Italie, en Espagne... et bien sûr au Québec... Le brunch fut fabuleux même si nous n'avons pas réussi à tout manger, le tout était d'un grand raffinement et très varié, sans oublier l'accompagnement des vins de ce très beau vignoble! Merci encore pour votre accueil!

Four of us had so much fun, learned more than we ever have at a winery, and enjoyed an absolutely delicious meal. Our guide was wonderful. We highly recommend the cellar tour and immersive Alsatian meal.
