About the winery

Château Cadet-Bon, Grand Cru Classé, is a 5.5-hectare family estate nestling in the hills near the village of Saint Emilion. We grow 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc organically, with an average age of 40 years, to produce our great wines, true to their terroirs.

Une très belle découverte à Saint-Émilion. Le château est magnifique, parfaitement entretenu, et la visite était passionnante du début à la fin. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l’accueil chaleureux ainsi que les explications claires et enrichissantes sur le domaine et les vins. La dégustation était excellente. Une expérience authentique que nous recommandons vivement.

Our visit was fantastic- the location is beautiful and an easy walk from the town. The guide was very informative and the wine was delicious. It was great value with 4 wonderful wines included and they were not stingy with the serving. I would highly recommended for anyone staying in Bordeaux city or St-Emilion.

De tourguide was chagrijnig en hij straalde geen plezier uit. Hij vertelde razend snel wat hij ‘moest’ vertellen. De wijnen die we mochten proeven waren erg lekker en hier hebben we ook wat van ingekocht. Jammer dat het overkwam alsof hij er geen plezier in had, want de plek was fantastisch en de wijnen ook heerlijk.
