About the winery

Château Cadet-Bon, Grand Cru Classé, is a 5.5-hectare family estate nestling in the hills near the village of Saint Emilion. We grow 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc organically, with an average age of 40 years, to produce our great wines, true to their terroirs.

Ci aspettavamo una visita più articolata. Probabilmente siamo state sfortunate nel nostro turno perché abbiamo ascoltato la presentazione all’esterno del turno successivo e sono state dette molte più informazioni. Avremmo voluto dedicare meno tempo a bere e più tempo alla spiegazione. Lo consiglio comunque per la cifra.

We had a lovely tour and tasting experience with Amber. She patiently explained the wine making process during the tour of the cellar. We also tasted a 2015 vintage which was fabulous. This winery makes great wines. Thank you Amber!

Très belle visite, on en a appris beaucoup sur ce château à échelle familiale. C’était très intéressant d’être accompagné pas l’un des propriétaires qui a pu nous en dire plus sur les réalités du métier.

Ambre, notre guide, a su s'adapter à tous les niveaux. Elle a su être pédagogue et précise dans ses explications qui ont été limpides. Concernant la dégustation, elle a su nous montrer les differentes évolutions selon la production et le vieillissement du vin. Un grand merci à elle pour ses explications et sa gentillesse. Nous recommandons.

Très bien reçu sachant que nous sommes arrivés en retard de 20 minutes La dégustation s’est déroulée d’une façon clean Pas d’activité à signaler. Peut être il faut penser à améliorer cette partie.
