About the winery

Château Cadet-Bon, Grand Cru Classé, is a 5.5-hectare family estate nestling in the hills near the village of Saint Emilion. We grow 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc organically, with an average age of 40 years, to produce our great wines, true to their terroirs.

The guide was very nice, gave a good tour and knew the answers to all our questions. The wine was great and it was interesting to taste the change when it gets older. The guide mentioned many times that it would all taste even better with food, so it may be a good idea to pair some small snack like cheese or charcuterie with the tasting

Great tour. Guide was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of useful information. We saw all aspects of the Chateau - a Grand Cru Classee. The tasting experience was amazing with a wide range of vintages offered. Would book tour again.

I would highly recommend this workshop with Beatrice to anyone planning a visit to St. Emilion. The Chateau itself is a beautiful, familial operation easily accessible from anywhere in town. Beatrice has a wealth of knowledge and is an excellent teacher, making her class fun, collaborative, and informative. My wife and I are not experts, nor are we novices, and I felt that the class was perfectly tailored to our experience level. Overall it was a phenomenal way to spend a morning in wine country and a total highlight on our trip.

Nous avons passé un très agréable moment en compagnie de Béatrice. Deux heures passionnantes avec une passionnée. C’est plus qu’une dégustation. C’est également l’occasion de découvrir ou redécouvrir les grandes étapes de l’exploitation de la vigne et de la fabrication du vin. C’est aussi un moment ludique où l’on classe les senteurs de base qu’il faudra essayer de retrouver lors de la dégustation. Le tout dans un endroit charmant aux portes de Saint-Emilion. Nous le recommandons.

Présentation du château, explications sur les cépages, visite des chais puis la dégustation des differents vins du château et des millésimes. Guiseppe a répondu à l'ensemble de nos questions.
