Champagne Blaise Lourdez

Nous avons participé à une visite et une dégustation chez Champagne Blaise Lourdez à Damery. L’accueil a été chaleureux et l’explication très méticuleuse, depuis le soin apporté aux vignes jusqu’à l’étiquetage et l’emballage des bouteilles. Il y avait aussi un peu d’histoire, présentée de manière vivante et non ennuyeuse.On nous a donné des conseils sur la bonne conservation des bouteilles que nous avons achetées, ainsi que sur les meilleurs endroits où se les procurer.Concernant la dégustation, nous avons essayé Le Charme, Le Charme Ambrée, La Nature et Les 3 Cépages. Franchement, c’était exceptionnel ! Le jardin dans lequel s’est déroulée la dégustation avait un très beau design.L’attention portée aux détails est remarquable, jusque dans la conception des bouteilles, l’étiquetage et même le sac !Un grand merci à Madame Isabelle !

Très bonne dégustation avec un bon partage sur les cuvées et les méthodes de travail. À recommander sans hésitation.

Excellent small producer with warm welcome and superb champagne

We had a tour just by ourselves which was a great experience. We got to ask all our questions and the host was absolutely lovely and took her time. Tasting was with a larger group, but still very warm and welcoming, with a few real gems! 'Highly recommended!

We had a lovely experience at Blaise-Lourdez. Isabelle was very passionate and took her time explaining the champagne-making process to us. Even when our French fell short, she immediately switched to English. In the end she let us stay longer to have a picnic (which we hadn’t booked but brought ourselves) in her beautiful garden.

Isabelle is a wonderful hostess who shared with us her family history in the production of champagne, the techniques involved in her family business, and knowledge of all aspects of champagne making. What a wonderful experience to learn first hand from a key family member of a small but amazing champagne house. This was a very different experience from learning from a guide at one of the bigger houses - nothing against that, but what is different with this experience is the informality, the intimacy and the personal touch. You also get to see the actual vats and other machines used to make the champagne - not so with the bigger houses. The tasting was generous and very informative too. Super reasonable prices mean you can leave with some bottles of great bubbly without breaking the bank. All round brilliant!

It's a great place to enjoy champagne. Easy to find and park.
