Champagne Comtesse Lafond

Die Tour hat großen Spaß gemacht und ist sehr kurzweilig. Das Verkosten des Champagners an unterschiedlichen Orten der Tour ist charmant und wir haben ihn alle genossen. Besonders das Öffnen der Flaschen mit dem Schwert war ein schönes Highlight.

This was the absolute highlight of our visit to Epernay. The chateau and wine cellar are beautiful and the tour was wonderful. Our guide was amazing, so passionate and knowledgeable. We had further tours on the avenue after this and I can hand on heart say that this was overwhelmingly the best. So relaxed, easy, informative and with some beautiful wines. Thank you to our guide for making our experience what it was.

Un excellent accueil et des superbes vins proposés à la dégustation. Nous avons eu la chance d’être les seuls à avoir réservé le créneau et d’avoir donc une visite privée pendant laquelle nous avons eu une conversation intéressante et agréable avec un des sommeliers du domaine. L’histoire du château et de la jeune marque Comtesse Lafond est passionnante. On en apprend moins sur les particularités de la méthode champenoise, mais ce n’est pas le but de cette visite. A conseiller à celles et ceux qui ont déjà visité une cave plus « classique ».

Beautiful and calm setting to enjoy very good quality champagne.

On a passé un superbe moment avec une très gentille sommelière qui nous a appris pleines de choses intéressantes sur les lieux, l.histoire de la maison et le champagne bien sûr. A conseiller absolument.

My daughter and I visited for the tour, tasting, and sabrage. We were in a small group of six and greeted by the lovely Julie. She made us feel very welcome, she was engaging and extremely knowledgeable about all the stages of champagne production and its history. There was no question we asked that she could not answer with complete authority. We visited the cellar and grounds, as well as the chateau itself which is stunning. Learning the art of sabrage was great fun and getting to try the champagne afterwards was a bonus. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour over the bigger houses as it was a much more personal and relaxed experience IMO
