Champagne Godmé Sabine

We booked a tour because we wanted to learn about champagne processing,, but felt like we should have come prepared to have questions. The owner was cold, rushed through the toir and tasting. We were asked to change appointment time the morning of and when we came at the agreed new time, he greeted us with ‘so uou are the group thwt was to start at 3 (original time) and we were there at 3:30 as we were asked! There were smirks that felt condescending., wonder if it was because we were Asians, since the group after us got bonjour monsieur, madame a lot more warmly. We have had wine tasting with other wineries in Bordeaux, Alsace and we felt a lot more welcomed even ithough we didn’t have to pay for the tasting. Bottom line is that if you don’t want to provide a service, cancel it, rather than displaying a not welcoming attitude.

Great tour with lots of detail over the champagne making process as well as lots of opportunities to ask questions. Tasting of champagne at the end with an expansive toon of grape varieties to help you understand why you like certain varieties. Would recommend to all. Also spoke impeccable English and had a great sense of humour.

Private tour by Sabine the owner. Such an amazing experience in a small champagne winery with awesome views of the champagne valley. This was by far our best tour and more personal than for example Veuve Clicquot

Super accueil, personne très sympathique, visite ludique, les explications étaient claires et faciles à comprendre on a apprit un tas de choses très intéressantes et la dégustation très agréable je recommande vivement ce lieu.
