Château Gigognan

Set in a stunning location, this winery offered breathtaking views and the warmest welcome. Although my mum couldn’t join the tasting due to her crutches, the staff made her completely comfortable with a seat and water while I was treated to a private tour.Our guide’s passion for winemaking was contagious as she walked me through the vineyard and cellar, explaining everything from soil impact and grape picking to fermentation in cement vs. steel and aging in clay vs. wood. It was fascinating to see how every detail—and even each year—shapes the final product.The tasting was the perfect finale, with each wine thoughtfully introduced and explained. I absolutely loved it and couldn’t resist bringing some home!

Our guide was most informative and so pleasant. She engaged very well with the group. We learned a lot during our visit. Would recommend a trip to this winery.

La balade à vélo était un très beau moment, entre nature et découverte du vignoble. La dégustation des vins était à la hauteur, avec des explications passionnantes et des produits de grande qualité. La visite de la cave a complété parfaitement cette belle escapade, avec un accueil chaleureux et professionnel. Un grand merci pour ce moment authentique et convivial !

Une découverte passionnante grâce à Léa au cœur des vignes et des cuves. Tout y était l’histoire du domaine, présentation des 13 cépages, procédés de fabrications, AOC, et le meilleur pour la fin la dégustation. C’était passionnant et très agréable. SVP ouvrez un restaurant de terroir le plus vite possible on serait rester. En tout cas un grand merci pour cette première expérience, une jolie découverte.

Notre guide était très renseignée, et nous a fourni toutes les informations nécessaires à la compréhension du processus de fabrication des vins. Nous avons goûté 13 vins et nous les avons trouvé excellent avec bien sûr de légères variations individuelles. Nous sommes ravis de notre visite et pour nous ce fut la meilleure visite d’un vignoble de la région. Je la recommande à tous !

Our family had a fun and informative estate and vineyard tour with Claude and his student; we then got to taste a full collection of their wines which was a great time. We felt welcome and would definitely recommend Chateau Gigognan to wine lovers! Beautiful Chateau, great team, delicious wines.

Très bon accueil, bonne excitation des papilles et très belle balade à vélo au travers des vignobles avec la chaleur de ses galets roulés. Que dire de plus , tout était parfait !
