Caves Ambacia

We did several wine tasting tours in Val de Loire and also Bourgogne but this one was definitely the most engaging and fun as well as informative. The guide (who's name I have forgotten!) was excellent and gave us just the right amount of detail without overloading us. The tasting and suggestions of cheese and food pairing were really helpful. And it is wonderfully cool in the cellars (it was 40C outside!). 100% worth it but book ahead.

The experience is a must!

Nous avons visité cette cave,appris beaucoup de choses sur le thème du vin et participé à une dégustation hors du commun. Comment observer le vin ? Comment sentir un vin ? Comment le déguster ? Comment associer les vins avec des mets ?* Par la suite, nous avons mangé sur place. Repas délicieux. Moment magnifique...

We had a great tour led by Thomas. He was so informative and just so energetic with his presentations! I liked how the tour provided opportunities to learn the practice of identifying scents and how to gauge the sugar and alcohol content! Much more informative than any other tasting I’ve experienced! My husband and I enjoyed it very much! Definitely LOVED the fromage and charcuterie pairings with the wine ? It was perfect pairings!

Un accueil chaleureux, une visite dans la bonne ambiance avec un guide passionné qui nous a donné une tonne d'informations et d'astuces. Une dégustation et des conseils au top. Nous avons ensuite mangé sur place, des plats succulents accompagnés de bons vins. Tout pour passer un agréable moment. Je vous conseil l'endroit sans hésitation !

Nous avons vécu une expérience formidable accompagnés de notre guide François qui nous a fait découvrir les vins blancs et rouges du terroir local avec beaucoup de générosité et d’explications pertinentes.Pendant une heure 30, nous avons parcouru la cave construite dans les années 1463, avons été familiarisés avec le mode d’élaboration des vins et avons conclu notre visite par la dégustation de 3 vins blancs et 3 vins rouges accompagnés de fromages et de saucissons pour des accords parfaits.Un moment vraiment plaisant et instructif grâce à notre hôte passionné.Alors, n’hésitez pas, vous y passerez une moment inoubliable.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the winery. Francoise, our guide, was extremely knowledgable and entertaining. We learnt a lot about wine and in particular those of the region plus tastings of 6 different local wines. Decided to stay afterwards for lubch in the restaurant sitting eating on the terrace watching the Loire. Thoroughly recommend this experience if you like wine.

Le guide était passionné et très intéressant! Il nous a vraiment donné le goût dans savoir plus sur les vins. Les vins le fromage et les saucissons étaient exceptionnels!?
