Domaine Emile Beyer

We had a lovely tasting, learned so much about the wines and how they are made! The wines we tasted were delicious!

L'accueil à la maison Emile Beyer fut très chaleureux et en toute simplicité. Notre groupe ne comptait que deux couples ce qui permettait des échanges intéressants avec notre guide qui était très bien informée sur le sujet des vins, et sur l'histoire de la famille Beyer qui compte maintenant 14 générations de Beyer à la tête du domaine. La visite de la cave de 1580 m'a cependant un peu déçu. Bien qu'elle ne serve plus de nos jours, elle pourrait sûrement contenir plein d'anciens artefacts et des posters expliquant le cheminement et les étapes du processus de vinification. Convertir la cave en petit musée serait un plus selon moi. Quoiqu'il en soit, les explications fournies par notre guide dont je n'ai malheureusement pas retenu le nom était toujours très précises et pertinentes. Quand à la dégustation de vins, nous avons été comblé. La famille Emile Beyer fait d'excellent vins AOC d'Alsace. Nous en avons acheté deux bouteilles que nous dégusterons entre amis à notre retour au Canada.

We enjoyed the lunch in Colmar and then traveled to Eguisheim for one of the best wine tastings we have done. Very informative and some excellent and varied wines. Everyone was also very dog friendly throughout.

The restaurant served a wonderful 3 course menu. The menu consisted of traditional local dishes/ingredients, but prepared in a modern and fancy style. The quality and taste of the food was absolutely great, as well as the kind and friendly service. The wine tasting afterwards was well prepared, with extensive information. We were able to taste any wine on the list and were provided with a well-founded background knowledge to each wine. All our questions were answered perfectly and so the tasting felt like a wonderful and relaxed conversation.The town center of Eguisheim is amazingly beautiful and this experience should be combined with a walk around the old town center and a visit of all the shops and opportunities.We can highly recommend this experience.

We had such a fantastic experience at the wine tasting. I booked it mainly for my girlfriend as she’s the real wine lover, but I ended up enjoying it far more than I expected. Some of the wines were a real surprise for me, even as someone who doesn’t usually drink wine.Our host was absolutely brilliant—she not only guided us through the tasting but also explained the whole process in depth. We learned so much about the wines, their origins, and how to really appreciate the flavours. She made the experience both fun and educational, and her passion really came through.My girlfriend loved every moment, and it was such a memorable experience for both of us. Would highly recommend to anyone, whether you’re a wine enthusiast or just curious to try something new.

We had an amazing tasting and tour!

Nous sommes arrivés un peu en avance, nous avons été très bien accueilli par la dame de l'accueil, le jeune homme qui s'est occupé de nous a été très agréable, très disponible pour répondre au question. On voit qu'il est très impliqué dans son travail on pourrait même dire qu'il connaît le domaine et l'histoire de la famille beyer comme sa poche. Moment de dégustation au top de très bonne explication et de bon conseil. Tous étais parfait merci pour tous.

Les personnel est super sympa et s’adapte à tes goûts. On a bien discuté et profité des bons vins.

We had a very nice afternoon with our host. Surprised that he asked which wine we would prefer, so that it was a very personal tasting. The wines were of a high quality and the information about the wine and the region was complete. To see the wine cellar and the history of the family felt very special.
