Château de Juliénas

We were very pleased with the event. We made a warm entrance with Anita's wonderful hospitality. Anita told us a lot about the building and the area. We learned all the processes from planting and picking grapes to turning them into wine. Afterwards, we visited the cellar and saw the wine barrels. Here again Anita gave us a lot of information. And finally we moved on to tasting. We had a tasting in a stylish environment in a historical building. The wines here and the information given were very good. Anita's English was very good and she was very welcoming. I would like to thank him again from here.

Visiter notre patrimoine tel que le château de juliénas fait toujours plaisir et d'autant plus lorsque c'est un patrimoine qui est si vivant et entretenu par la passion des belles choses.

Tres bon tour de la Chateau historique avec notre guide Anita, des vins de très bon qualité avec un rapport prix très intéressante. Si vous voulez découvrir Juliénas et ses vins, ne hésitez pas!

We had a wonderful experience with the very kind Anita! She answered all our questions, educated us on Beaujolais wines and region and even gave us recommendations for further tastings! What a great introduction to Beaujolais. Glad we got to take some bottles home with us too!

We had a great tour, only the two of us. Therefore we could ask and discuss about what we wanted. Because we are on a higher level in wine knowledge, we had a tour adjusted to our knowledge. The approach of wine making is very admirable. Therefore you can taste it in the very high quality in the wines. A great experience, recommendable to everyone who has a heart for wine makers who make wine with their heart.

The most beautiful chateau and the wines were so amazing. The woman who led the tour was incredible and so informative.

Une fois arrivé au château, nous avons été pris en charge par Baudoin. Il nous a expliqué l'histoire de la propriété et du cru, nous a donné des myriades de renseignements sur le cépage et le processus de vinification. Il nous à fait visiter la salle des cuves et du pressoir ainsi que les caves, tout en nous donnant un maximum d'information. Enfin nous avons fini par une dégustation de vin, accompagnée d'un plateau de charcuterie. Nous avons dégusté un rosé, un Fleurie et deux Juliénas. Tous ces vins étaient très bon (pas de mauvais vin dans ce château). Notre préférence va tout de même aux deux Juliénas. En conclusion ce fut une superbe expérience. Un petit regret peut être est de ne pas avoir été au plus prêt de la vigne mais la visite reste extrêmement intéressante et maîtrisée, félicitation et merci à Baudoin pour son professionnalisme.
