Château du Petit Thouars

C'était parfait. L'accueil était top, le propriétaire très sympa, et nous avons passé un excellent moment. En plus, cette visite nous a permis de découvrir le vin rouge alors que nous sommes plutôt habitués au blanc

Sebastian was a gracious host during the tour and the wine tasting. We learned about the family and chateau history, visited the vineyards and winemaking area, and enjoyed a nice wine tasting and cheese and meat board. There was a great selection of wines to taste. You can’t go bad with anything on the wine list.

Le monsieur qui nous a fait la visite et la dégustation était très sympathique et prenait le temps de répondre à toutes nos questions. La visite était vraiment intéressante et nous avons beaucoup apprécié la dégustation. Nous ne sommes pas repartis les mains vides !

Excellente expérience au Château du Petit Thouars. La visite commence devant le château avec une présentation passionnante de l’histoire familiale, puis se poursuit dans les vignes et au chai. La dégustation de cinq vins est très bien menée et conviviale. Des explications sincères, touchantes et une vraie passion du terroir. Une adresse que nous recommandons vivement pour découvrir un petit domaine authentique d'appellation Chinon

Accueil chaleureux dans un site exceptionnel. Le Proprietaire est un passionné. Les visites sont hyper intéressantes. la sélection proposée lors de la dégustation reflète la diversité des Chinon. Merci pour ce moment de partage.

Sebastien was a fantastic and fascinating host. His knowledge of wine and the area as well as his charter and charm were all huge draws. Seeing how the wine was made, where the grapes grew and why he made the choices for the business he had were all brilliant. The chateaux was stunning and the wine tasting perfect. I came away with 6 bottles as his wine was really that good. Cannot recommend this tour enough, I will definitely be back when i come to France from Cornwall again.

Un castillo fascinante, con una historia que se remonta al Siglo XV. Un dominio que esconde una seleccion de tierras en altura sobre el rio Loire, una bodega subterránea, su gente muy acogedora y grandes conocedores del proceso vinícola. Un vino muy particular y auténtico.
