About the winery

Domaines Uijttewaal is the family winery created by Adrien Uijttewaal, a farmer with Dutch roots.

In the 1980s, Adrien left the family dairy farm to harvest grapes in the Nord Médoc. He then became a winemaker and built a vineyard from scratch, now covering 45 hectares, on the edge of the estuary in the commune of Queyrac, with the ambition of ... see more

Medoc met Nederlandse roots

Nazaten van de familie Uijttewaal (Utrecht) hebben hier iets moois neergezet. Nadat Zoé in de gaten kreeg dat we net iets meer van wijn weten schakelde ze snel door van een standaard tasting naar een met verschillende jaargangen. Super veel aandacht, mega enthousiasme van Zoé maakt er voor ons een hele bijzondere ervaring van. Tot slot gingen we (mede door haar goede zorgen) met 6 flesjes in de auto richting Montalivet Plage voor een lekkere lunch (dankjewel voor de tip).

Bonjour, Étant en vacances dans la région nous sommes venu visiter le château. Bon accueil par Zoé, personne compréhensible étant avec un bébé de 10 mois. De très bonnes explications pour tout et une très bonne dégustation merci. Nous recommandons sans soucis au plaisir

Super visite organisée par Zoé. Beau domaine bien entretenu et visite agréablement expliquée. Les enfants aussi ont apprécié la visite. Les différents vins dégustés peuvent convenir à différentes exigences, dégustation de jus de raisin pour les enfants. Top !

Le lieu est magnifique, la visite n'est ni trop courte ni trop longue pour les enfants. La dégustation est excellente.

Nous avons passé un beau moment au château en famille, une visite instructive, gustative dans une ambiance chaleureuse. Le seul côté négatif est que les vignes ne sont pas autour du château. Bonne qualité du vin mais un peu onéreux. Néanmoins nous recommandons fortement pour l'accueil.
