About the winery

Domaines Uijttewaal is the family winery created by Adrien Uijttewaal, a farmer with Dutch roots.

In the 1980s, Adrien left the family dairy farm to harvest grapes in the Nord Médoc. He then became a winemaker and built a vineyard from scratch, now covering 45 hectares, on the edge of the estuary in the commune of Queyrac, with the ambition of ... see more

Uiterst vriendelijke ontvangst in een fraai wijnhuis annex boerderij. Duidelijke uitleg over de geschiedenis van het huis en de kwaliteitskenmerken van het wijnproces. Alles ademt aandacht en kwaltiteit en dat komt terug in de prachtige wijnen, met ook nog eens aantrekkelijke prijzen. Echt een aanrader.

Nous avons passé un excellent moment lors de cette visite découverte au Château St Hilaire. La visite était fort instructive et dynamique sans compter le moment de la degustation des vins. L accueil au château est chaleureux, tout en simplicité. La planche charcuterie fromage accompagnée d un verre de vin installé ds le jardin du château est fort agréable. Les produits sont excellents et généreusement servis. Je recommande fortement cette visite Allez y les yeux fermés.

We werden erg vriendelijk rond geleid, met aandacht en geduld voor de kinderen. Wanneer wij de wijn tasting hadden, kregen de kids druivensap en konden ze een reuk spel of andere spelletjes doen.Zeer geslaagd.
