About the winery

Nestled in the heart of the village of Saint-Emilion, Couvent des Jacobins has been a family business since 1902. Jean Jean acquired the property and today it is his great-great-grandson, Xavier, who carries on the tradition of the Grand Cru Classé with a touch of innovation. Eva Luna fue simplemente perfecta! Nos trajo en tuktuk a los viñedos y luego en las bodegas. Además fue muy profesional en la cata de vinos.

La visita al antiguo convento y bodega con degustación ha sido estupenda, Eva, que nos atendió un encanto, solo tenemos opiniones positivas para nuestra cita. Las bodegas merecen la pena y la degustación también, además al estar en el centro del pueblo, es perfecta para salir y seguir visitandolo.

Un grand merci à Rachel pour la visite du Couvent des Jacobins ! J'ai adoré le concept du tuktuk pour aleer dans les vignes, puis le passage par le chais et les caves. Cela nous a permis de bien comprendre le processus de fabrication, avec des explications au top ! Encore merci :)

Molto bello il giro in tuk tuk anche se è stato breve e la visita della cantina è stata fantastica. I vini erano buoni peccato non poterlo comprare avendo solo il bagaglio a mano.

Tour was excellent by a friendly and competent guide. Picnic OK but by no means "Gourmet". Wine was not really to my liking and small amount, 2 glasses of 100 ml.
