About the winery

Château du Taillan has been a family property since 1896 but today it is above all a modern story, told by women! Five sisters now hold the reins of the Château located at the gateway to Bordeaux and the Médoc.

Ha sido una fantástica experiencia conocer la historia de las bodegas, visitar las instalaciones, conocer el proceso de elaboración y catar unos magníficos vinos. Gracias a la guía que en todo momento nos explicó de una manera clara y concisa, con gran amabilidad, toda la información. Una bodega histórica y tradicional con gran calidad del vino.

Visitamos el Chateau du Taillan como excursión complementaria a nuestro viaje a Burdeos y no pudo ser una mejor idea. Un chateau y unas bodegas preciosas, gran explicación de la finca y de cómo se produce el vino, además de una cata más que correcta de unos vinos buenísimos. Recomendable 100%

Visitamos Château du Taillan durante nuestras vacaciones y fue una experiencia que recordaremos con mucho cariño. La finca es preciosa, con un castillo lleno de historia y unos jardines muy bien cuidados que hacen que la visita sea especial desde el primer momento.La guía fue encantadora y explicó el proceso de elaboración del vino de forma muy interesante, mezclando historia, tradición y curiosidades. Se nota la pasión con la que trabajan.La cata estuvo muy bien organizada y pudimos probar varios vinos excelentes, con explicaciones claras que hicieron que los apreciáramos aún más.Es una bodega muy recomendable para quienes quieran conocer el Médoc y disfrutar de una experiencia auténtica en un entorno elegante y acogedor. Sin duda, volveríamos.

We had an amazing time for my friend's hen party! The grounds were so serene and beautiful, and Johanna was so nice and accommodating when we were running late due to Uber cancellations. The tour and tasting were incredibly interesting, and Johanna gave great advice on food pairings for each wine. We would all love to come back one day!
