About the winery

Château du Taillan has been a family property since 1896 but today it is above all a modern story, told by women! Five sisters now hold the reins of the Château located at the gateway to Bordeaux and the Médoc.

Great tour on winery

The winery was amazing. We were able to witness the entire process from growing the grape to bottling the wine. We also sampled several bottles of white and red wines. Our host was hospitable and extremely knowledgeable in their kraft. We walk around the beautiful castle and place was very nice with historical buildings. It was really enjoyable!

Una visita muy bonita a las bodegas, con explicaciones muy interesantes sobre el proceso del vino y sobre la historia del Chateao. La guia de habla española, super amable. Los vinos muy buenos. Las bodegas, con caracter y personalidad. Y el hecho de que sea un negocio llevado por mujeres, se palpa todo el rato. Muy recomendable.
