About the winery

The historic Château de Rouillac belonged to the famous Baron Hausmann, who acquired the estate in 1864. He commissioned numerous works and linked the horses to the history of Rouillac. He had beautiful stables built. Since then, the estate has produced excellent red wines.

Excellente visite faite par la maître de chai, explications historiques et techniques détaillées particulièrement appréciées. Sa passion pour ce domaine et son métier de ressent à chaque moment. Pour ceux qui apprécient de connaître le récit de différents procédés, elle se charge des visites les lundi.
un très joli domaine qui malheureusement ne correspondait pas à nos attentes .

Nous avons passé un moment fantastique au château de Rouillac ! Inès est une guide très sympathique, qui sera vous transmettre ses passions pour ce domaine et le vin. Le lieu est incroyable et rempli d’histoire. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

Inès è stata gentile e accogliente e cinha presentato il chateaux e la cantina con grande professionalità. Abbiamo conociuto anche i cavlli in pensione della tenuta e visitato le stalle. Buona degustazione, spiegata bene, vini buoni. Andiamo via con un bel ricordo grazie ai consigli di Inès su Bordeaux!
