About the winery

Château Chauvin, a Grand Cru Classé since 1955, has belonged since 2014 to the Cazes-Régimbeau family, who are also co-owners of the famous Château Lynch-Bages in Pauillac, a pioneer in wine tourism, which has been receiving numerous visitors for decades.

Our guide explained everything clearly and patiently and although I’ve been on tours before, this was really interesting and she took the time to let us see everything. The wine was lovely and the whole experience was enjoyable, enriching and unpretentious. I’d recommend it

Having been fans of wines from St. Emilion for a while, we were very pleased with our first official wine-tasting visit there at Chateau Chauvin. We arrived quite a bit earlier than planned, but our guide Luna welcomed us, said no problem, and began our tour immediately. She was very knowledgeable about the history and specific processes used by Chateau Chauvin, so she made the tour fun, interesting and educational. The wines we tried were all very good, so we finished the day by buying a case with a variety of 6 reds. Very happy with our experience there!

Nous avons été parfaitement accueilli, la visite s'est parfaitement bien déroulée. Des explications poussés mais avec un vocabulaire simple sans aucune prétention. Même si le lieu était en partie en travaux, tout est pris dans la bonne humeur. La dégustation était superbe, nous avons pu observer par la belle baie vitrée le domaine. Une très belle adresse. Merci

We had a great time there tasting three red wines while holding an interesting conversation with our host. The location is really quiet, far apart from the village, but if you don’t have a car, even the 50-min walk to the château is worth the time and effort. The tasting room has great views of the vineyards through giant glass windows. I would definitely recommend this experience.
