About the winery

The Domaine de la Perruche is located in the commune of Montsoreau, famous for its 15th century château, immortalised by Alexandre Dumas in his novel "La Dame de Montsoreau". Great tasting experience

We chose our first tasting experience with the vineyard just a few hundred yards from our campsite . We were met by Camille who was friendly and professional .She took us through the wine process and we tasted a lot of different wines with their accompaniments .For 10 euros each we thought this was great value We ended the experience with a tour of the cave /vineyard cellar .It was a very welcome 13degrees after such a hot day ! Ended up buying a few bottles to take home and learned a lot along the way Thankyou Camille ! X
A very pleasant experience

We enjoyed several samples of lovely wine, starting with a cremant and working our way through two whites and two reds, with food pairings. The tasting room was really impressive, a stone cave hacked out of the hillside. We also had a tour of the caves and further samples. Our host was delightful and very knowledgeable. Definitely recommended ?

Visite et activités correctes mais cette proposition très touristique manque de véritables connaissances sur l'histoire du vignoble. Très déçus de payer une bouteille à plus de 14 euros et de retrouver EXACTEMENT le même cru à 10 euros au Super U quelques mètres plus loin... Cela reste un moment agréable pour l'amateur qui ne connaît rien au vin.

Nous avons été accueillis par une charmante jeune femme. Très belle cave et dégustation très agréable. Un peu plus d’explications sur la fabrication du vin et cela aurait été parfait.
