I cannot recommend Matthieu's tasting course highly enough. He was friendly and enthusiastic and made something that often seems esoteric accessible and informative. I was delighted with his approach--I had heard of the 'Le Nez du Vin' kits but had never had a chance to play with the essential oils and learn to identify and taste the complex variables in wines. This course greatly expanded my appreciation for the sommelier's art and made going to caves and tastings more intriguing and playful. Matthieu puts his visitors at ease, assuring them that 'the best wine is the one you like.' His course was a highlight of our visit to Dijon and Burgundy and I'm very glad we did this at the beginning of our trip as it opened up my senses to so much possibility. A thousand thank-yous!

We had a great time! Matthieu is very friendly and clearly very knowledgeable about wine. We managed to taste 6 different wines from Burgundy (3 whites, 3 reds). It was a fantastic experience, and we really appreciated the variety and the expertise shared during the tasting. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to explore Burgundy's wines!

I recently had the pleasure of attending their atelier de dégustation that gave us a great introduction to wine tasting. The atmosphere was great, and the setting is really fantastic. The selection of wines was nothing short of spectacular. The sommelier's insights were both enlightening and engaging, giving us great explanations on the nuances of flavor and aroma.
What set this atelier apart was the perfect balance between education and sensory delight. The discussion flowed naturally with the wine tasting. In total, we got to taste 6 different wines from the region (3 whites and 3 reds), and the selection of wines in the boutique is also great if you want to bring back a few bottles! Whether you're a seasoned connoisseur or a curious newcomer, this experience is an absolute must for anyone looking to deepen their appreciation of wine.
We learned so much about wine and burgundy terroire. Matthieu is a superbe host and teacher, he is passionate and share it. I recommend and will do it again when we are back in Dijon!
