About the winery

Jean Marie and Isabelle Chapier, both from medical backgrounds, acquired the winery in 2019. Isabelle, a doctor of pharmacy, and Jean Marie, a medical biologist, settled in Gevrey Chambertin.
After an initial experience of winegrowing in Bergerac. His passion for wine continued in Burgundy.

Avec mes amis, nous avons passé un très bon moment lors de notre visite au Domaine Les Astrelles. Nous avons appris beaucoup de choses, la visite était vraiment intéressante et nous avons adoré découvrir l’univers du domaine. Et surtout, les vins étaient vraiment excellents ! Nous avons beaucoup apprécié cette expérience et nous la recommandons avec grand plaisir. Merci encore pour votre accueil !
Best tasting we did

We visited the 29th of July. Julien showed us around in the winery and described the process and his philosophy on wines. Very engaging and fun. The tasting was excellent, each wine described with personality and description of where it grew and how it’s produced. We loved it! And bought wines. Best tasting we have had in Bourgogne and we have been to quite a few. We will come back!

Julien welcomed us at the door of their winery and invited us to tour their different rooms of wine making - fermentations (oak and ceramic), bottling and etc. We had 5 glasses of 2023 premier cru, 3 reds and 2 whites. Each of them was wonderful and tasty upon opening. I can see the potential here!

I really enjoyed the visit. During the tour, they showed us their modern, professional, and scientific winemaking process, which was very interesting. I also loved their wines.
