With a history stretching back 1,000 years, Château Cantemerle (35 minutes from Bordeaux, in the Médoc), classified as a Grand Cru Classé in 1855, is one of Bordeaux’s oldest wine estates. Its history dates back to the 12th century and vines have been grown here for over 700 years.
