About the winery

Château Pape Clément is one of the oldest Grands Crus in Bordeaux. Its vineyards, which were first harvested in 1252, were planted in the 13th century by Bertrand de Got, the youngest son of a noble family from the Bordeaux region. Une visite magnifique, des lieux qui invitent à goûter les nectars de la maison. Et un jardin superbe avec des oliviers incroyables. La guide a répondu à. Toutes nos questions. Superbe moment !!La note sur le vin n’est pas de 5/5 car deux des vins étaient des vins blancs, pas à mon goût. Cela ne veut pas dire qu’ils étaient excellents !

It was a really lovely experience overall!! The only thing i have a slight gripe about was the begining, noone really showed me where to go to join up with the rest of my group so i was lost at the begining and eventually found someone who helped. Other than that, the tour guide was knowledgeable and polite and I got to find out a lot of different things about the history of the place. The tasting was also fantastic! It was nice to be able to spend some time afterwards strolling the beautiful gardens and taking it all in. Would defnitely recommend.

Belle expérience, histoire intéressante, qques questions pour lesquelles la guide n’avait pas de réponse mais c’est ok… Maintenant nous essayons de comprendre pourquoi protéger le sol avec les chevaux et les vignes de la chaleur grâce à une startup alors que les pauvres chevaux sont ds un si petit enclos en plein soleil en pleine canicule, il me semble que le proprio devrait investir ds leur confort en échange de leur travail!

Visite guidée très agréable, avec un super guide qui connait son sujet (Rodriguo), le parc, les chais sont juste incroyables et la dégustation vaut vraiment le coup. Nous avons passé un superbe moment en couple.... tout le monde est adorable et abordable. Nous recommandons vivement. Merci encore Rodriguo

We thoroughly enjoyed our wine tasting along with the beautiful landscape and buildings. We were pleasantly surprised by the unusual concept of serve yourself wine bar where one could chose to taste several different types of wine which actually helped us to narrow down our wine selection. Shipping some home to enjoy!
