Achillée

Our entire vineyard has been organically farmed for about 20 years and biodynamically farmed since 2003.
In 2016, we built a bioclimatic cellar where we have been vinifying our own wines in total independence ever since.
This winery, located in the center of the Alsace wine route, is a passive building constructed of wood and straw. This ... see more

Très bonne découverte
By Floriane for Visite complète & plaisirs gourmands 25 days ago 5.0

Highly recommended.

Very friendly welcome. The setting is beautiful, built of wood and straw, overlooking the vineyards. They offered us 8 wines for tasting, all representative of the region and the winery's philosophy.

Amazing wine; amazing host!

We booked an English-speaking wine tasting experience in June. Our host was welcoming, gracious, and attentive! He brought us quite the array of wines, and it was well-worth our while. It was hard to choose a favorite! Their crémant is fabulous, as well as the Rittersberg complanté, muscat, and pinot noir granite (traditionally made). But to try the best wine of all, ask for their "orange wine"; it is the most wonderful surprise!

An outstanding wine tasting experience from start to finish. We were warmly welcomed by Amandine, who guided us through the winery and shared detailed information about their wines. The tasting focused mainly on white wines (which is usual in Alsace), and we enjoyed a great variety so much so that we ended up purchasing 12 bottles. The Riesling, orange wine, and Gewurztraminer were particularly impressive. To be honest, I was initially skeptical about organic bio wines, as some can taste like fizzy grape juice, but the wines here truly stood out. Unique, original, well-crafted, and absolutely delicious.
