About the winery

During the 15th century, the property was a fortified farm. Later on, it became a manor house : then, during the 16th century, a castle. The last wing of the castle was built during the unions of the Colonel du Soulier and the Espinay family. This family also owned the Ussé castle located nearby on the other side of the Loire river. Super accueil par Éden. Nous avons vraiment été immergée dans ce domaine avec la culture et l’éthique qu’il représente. Nous recommandons vraiment ce moment très agréable. Le pique-nique était vraiment très bon.

Abbiamo degustato degli ottimi vini (tanti) introdotti da una bravissima Julie e accompagnati da un tagliere molto buono di formaggi e salumi. Se non fossimo stati di passaggio saremmo tornati sicuramente.
Lovely Tasting Experience at Chateau de Miniere

My wife and I visited here in March 2026. It was off season and so we were the only people there for the early first tasting. Our host took good care of us, first walking us around the grounds and telling us about the place, its history, the owner, local winemaking, and the wines. We then enjoyed a tasting in their tasting room. It is a pretty place and we had a really enjoyable visit.

Delicious lunch and wine

We enjoyed our wine tasting today and the picnic lunch-the food was delicious and the tasting was led by an informative and knowledgeable employee. We also enjoyed the art in the tasting room-the ceiling lights were particularly nice! All in all it was a lovely atmosphere and we bought plenty of wine to enjoy during the rest of our stay in France and to bring back home with us.

The winery is beautiful with amazing art and the wine was excellent too. The chocolate pairing was interesting and enhanced the experience. Our guide was excellent and shared a lot about the region and wines.
