Champagne G.H. Martel & C°

Our visit to G.H. Martel & Co. was great. The atmosphere was welcoming. The property itself and the tasting room were intimate and cozy. The tour guide did a great job educating us, and it seemed she had a passion for her work.

The tour was very nice. A lot of good explanation about the wine making in the cellars. Then there was the tasting, also very nice. Good champagnes to taste and also good explanation about the difference in grapes.

This is a lovely small house to visit in Reims. We had a very good tour guide and we enjoyed the lovely sunny courtyard.

The tour was a little basic compared to some of the other champagne houses we visited. But our tour guide was great - she was engaging and enthusiastic!

We are so happy that we booked this tour at GH Martel, it was a pleasure! So nice hospitality from the start with the booking, emails regarding purchase of bottles and then welcoming at the house at arrival. The manager Louis and his staff know what they are doing and are really professional without losing their personal touch! We enjoyed the tour, it was perfect amount of time. Other cellar tours we have been to hav been ”to long” and ends up boring in the end. the tasting afterwards was nice and we got good information. We will definitely be back at GH Martel. Thanks

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir habe viel über Champagner und die Herstellung erfahren. Wir hatten die Führung auf Englisch, unser Guide hat ein sehr gutes Englisch gesprochen, so dass wir auch ohne English-Praxis alles gut verstanden haben. Und der verkostet Champagner hat sehr gut geschmeckt?????
