We were lucky enough to enjoy a quiet afternoon ting the winery learning about what makes their winemaking so unique (I don’t want to ruin the surprise) and the history of the land. It is a very interesting place with delicious red wines, we bought a few of our favorite to take home with us.We particularly love the preserved history and commitment to the environment in their management of the winery and wine making practices.My family are coming to visit in a few weeks and we’ll be taking them here for sure as we really enjoyed it.Merci Julien!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Christophe's charming Domaine, of which he is clearly passionate about. He took time to show us each stage as well as to tell us a bit of the history of the place. The wines themselves were very good, so unsurprising that we left with several bottles so we can enjoy at home. Overall a really nice couple of hours experiencing the hospitality and knowledge of this beautiful historic Domaine.

This place was fantastic! Our tour guide Christoff was personable, friendly, and willing to share his expertise on everything. The staff made you feel right at home and could not be more welcoming. This was our favorite activity on our trip to Southern France. Bypass the touristy, glitzy chateaneuf du pape and go here instead!

Found this wonderful winery based on Rue des Vignerons reviews - we were looking for a location between Saint Remy and Gordes, in-between lodging locations. This is a family owned winery with great history and a terrific wine-maker, Christophe R. He has a relaxed style, great communicator (we are English only speakers); he created a comfortable and engaging experience. Winery has been in the family 4 generations; originally a monastery. Very interesting how large rooms have been repurposed but retain their history and charm for this winery / event space. Domaine Escrvaillac grows the region's grapes of Syrah, Grenache and Carignan - very interesting to learn how Cristophe replants and manages this property. The wine tasting was very relaxed as Cristophe tasted with us and explained more of how their wines were made - mostly blends but the Cepede is 95% Syrah (learned that this appelation requires blending - cannot be a single grape varietal). We enjoy wine tasting several times each year, primarily in California and each year when we visit Europe. This was the BEST wine tour and tasting - excellent wine, interesting winery, and awesome winemaker.

Rien a dire a pars que c'etait excellent. Le tour, le vignoble, la cave, les cuves - tout voir dans ce domaine, l'histoire le decors.. et que dire du vin aussi. Notre guide nous a egalement conseille des restau et activite a Avignon.En resume: Excellent
