La storia della famiglia Gasparoux nella regione di Bordeaux inizia nel 1902, quando Jean-Baptiste si trasferisce a Libourne come commerciante per sfuggire alla durezza della vita nel bellissimo ma povero Plateau de Millevaches, nella Corrèze.

We were fortunate enough to be the only two on the tour and so had the excellent guide to ourselves. Sadly we don’t get her name but she is the admin manager and was brilliant. Interesting facts combined with humour and of course superb wines at the end.

Un lieu élégant, à l’histoire familiale riche, guidé par un maître de chai passionné. La dégustation à la barrique est captivante, claire et instructive, chaque détail est soigneusement expliqué, avec des informations précieuses qui éclairent le parcours.

Très belle expérience, tout s’est très bien passé. Super guide, à l’écoute et très pédagogue. Les vins étaient excellents, nous avons d’ailleurs acheté 18 bouteilles ! La découverte du chai, de la cuverie et des tonneaux était passionnante. Visite réalisée avec mon mari, nous recommandons vivement !

Natasha introduced us to the vines with a fascinating explanation of the soils, grape varietals and the history of the chateau. Then we moved on to the wine making process where we learned so much about the complicated art/science of producing great wine. And, Beautiful wine for the tasting.You must do this! Ferrand Pomeral is a delightful surprise.

We had a wonderful time during our tour and tasting. We were given food to pair with the wive(compete and Contal cheese with some sausage) The tour guide was excellent and we really enjoyed the tasting. The scenery is breathtaking.Thank you.
