La storia della famiglia Gasparoux nella regione di Bordeaux inizia nel 1902, quando Jean-Baptiste si trasferisce a Libourne come commerciante per sfuggire alla durezza della vita nel bellissimo ma povero Plateau de Millevaches, nella Corrèze.

Un acceuil des plus chaleureux et par chance nous n'étions que les 3. Nous avons donc pu avoir une visite privilégiée avec énormément d'informations. Nous avons également pu voir le vidage des cuves et la presse du reste des raisins. S'en est suivi un petit passage dans le chai avec cette odeur de vin croisé avec le chêne des barriques avec encore de superbes explications tant sur le vieillissement du vin que sur la fabrication des fûts et leur impact sur le vin. Et pour finir une dégustation de 4 cuvées différentes aux goûts tout différents les uns des autres mais bien évidemment tous excellent en bouche. On est donc sur une visite que je ne peux que recommander pour ce chateau familial.

Une dégustations en barrique, un moment très enrichissant. Marguerite a su nous transmette son amour du vin et ses nombreuses connaissances en la matière! À ne pas manquer! Si vous avez l’occasion de rencontrer Denis,, le maître de chai, il saura vous partager ses expériences . Beau moment!

We were very impressed with the tour and tasting. Our guides English was superb making it very easy to understand the processes of Chateau Ferrand, she took the time to explain every last detail to us and made the tour fun and memorable. The wine was also very nice, we wish had the room to buy more.

Wir hatten eine super Tour bei Ferrand. Natascha, unsere Tourführerin, war sehr kompetent, nett und nahm sich sehr viel Zeit für uns. Das Tasting war top. Würden es wieder buchen.
